Kai, meanwhile, continued to teach from home, while moonlighting as an armed guard but it was evident that this income wouldn't maintain their standard of living. With their unwavering determination to overcome adversity, Kaili and Kai drew from their diverse backgrounds and experiences. Kai's history in business management for a now-defunct national music store chain, his current role as an educator for a charter school in South Los Angeles, while also serving as talent manager for Grammy-nominated producer Nabeyin (Kanye West, Nas, Drake), served as a guiding light during these challenging times. The birth of their family business became not only a testament to their resilience but also a symbol of hope and a means to create a nurturing environment for their children. Their unique blend of skills allowed them to craft a business model that celebrated their love for fashion, culture, art, and entertainment, while also providing gainful employment opportunities for their friends and family.
