Last year, our family had an amazing time celebrating with over a thousand attendees as we honored the history and contributions of Black Americans. It was a day filled with joy, unity, and community spirit.

This year, we are thrilled to announce that the Pasadena-based Los Angeles College of Music is partnering with Black in Mayberry to bring even more incredible performances to our Juneteenth celebration. This partnership will feature talented artists and musicians who will enrich our event with their vibrant and inspiring performances.

Juneteenth is more than a celebration—it's a powerful reminder of the progress we've made as a nation and a call to action for the work still ahead. Supporting BIPOC businesses is a crucial step in uplifting marginalized communities. When you shop BIPOC-owned, you help to build economic power, create jobs, and foster community growth. Let’s continue to support and celebrate these businesses, not just today, but every day.

This Juneteenth, let’s honor our history and reflect on the resilience and contributions of Black Americans. While we celebrate freedom and progress, we must also recognize the ongoing struggles against inequality and injustice. This event is not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of our commitment to justice and equity for all. We are honored to continue being a part of this annual event, showing our appreciation for the community’s support and dedication.

Last year’s Juneteenth event was a massive success, with over a thousand people in attendance. The celebration featured arts and crafts, games, and food trucks offering a variety of cuisines. This year promises to be even bigger and better with more activities for families to enjoy and learn from.
